Calpol Sugar-Free Infant Suspension Sachets
Uses
Treatment of mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic. Can be used in many conditions, including headache, toothache, earache, teething, sore throat, colds and flu, aches and pains and post-immunisation fever. Also available in original sugar-containing and sugar-free, colour-free formulas.
Format and Ingredients
Dosage
Children: up to 4 times daily but no more frequently than every 4 hours.
4-6 years: 10ml. 2-4 years: 7.5ml.
6-24 months: 5ml. 3-6 months: 2.5ml. Do not give for more than 3 days. 2-3 months (over 4 kg and born after 37 weeks): 2.5ml followed by a second dose 4-6 hours later if required – do not give more than 2 doses. Relief of fever after vaccination at 2, 3 and 4 months: 2.5ml up to 4 times per day for 2 days. Medical advice should be sought if further doses are needed or if the cause of pain or fever is not known.
